There were two postgraduate seminars in 2008
The FWSA student seminars are day-seminars, organised and run by students, with the goal of bringing together feminist scholars and activists from across institutions and disciplines. The seminars began in 2004-5, with a series of three linked seminars around the theme of “Where next for feminism?”, held at York, Lancaster and the London School of Economics. This was followed in 2005-6 with a seminar entitled “From Porn to Politics” at Newcastle. Following the success of these events, the FWSA invites proposals from groups of students from any discipline (or combination of disciplines) to host a seminar in the coming academic year.
