At the FWSA we run two main competitions every year, and offer a limited amount of postgraduate event funding:
The annual Book Prize aims to reward ingenuity and scholarship in the fields of feminism, gender or women’s studies. We welcome entries that are innovative, interdiscipinary and grounded in feminist theory and practice from across a range of disciplines and specialisms. The Book Prize is sponsored by Palgrave Macmillan.
The prestigious Student Essay Prize offers students to opportunity to have their work published in the Journal of International Women’s Studies.
The FWSA Small Grants Scheme is able to offer a limited amount of funding to postgraduate events focusing on feminist, gender or women’s studies across a range of disciplines. Click here to see how you can get funding for your event.
